We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of **Support Worker** to join our team here at iBC Healthcare within our Care Home, Tarry Hill. The location is based in the **New Mills, High Peak** area to work **days or night shifts.**

**Contract**: Full time, Part time, Bank Contracts available for Days or Nights.

**Hours**:Nights 20 to 40 hours a week, Days 21 to 35 hours a week

**Shifts**: 8am - 3pm, 3pm - 10pm, 8am - 10pm or night shifts 9.45pm to 8am

**Pay**: £10.10 per hour

Please note we can hire walkers or drivers for this role.

**The place of work**:
Tarry Hill is a 26 bedded care home that supports and carer for individuals with a wide range of diagnosis’ such as Autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs and bi polar.

The ideal staff member would be caring, willing to learn, have strong values including team work, caring and integrity. I would expect the staff to provide choices to individuals and support them to develop independent skills.

The staff need to be able to separate home life from work life to provide the best quality care to service users. Staff need to be calm natured and patient.

The staff team on site work very well together to keep service users and staff safe and all staff are trained in the correct safety intervention training.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Supporting young adults and adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex needs and risks behaviour within a care home.
- Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the care & support policies and procedures
- Identifying needs and preferences for each individual and providing personal care
- Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
- Be a kind, empathetic and people person who works well in a team.
