We’re looking for an experienced Visitor Journey Consultant to help us keep the National Trust’s visitors at the centre of every decision and create the best days out for everyone cross Wales.

What it's like to work here:You’ll be part of the Trust’s internal consultancy: a flexible resource of specialist skills and expertise. As one of a multidisciplinary team of experts, including curators, fundraisers, building surveyors and project managers, you’ll be working with others to help make things happen.

As this role covers all of Wales, your contractual place of work will be the nearest National Trust consultancy office to your home. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. We’ll talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at a National Trust site for 40-60% of your working week.

What you'll be doing:Over the next two years, you’ll be working closely with colleagues at built and outdoor sites across Wales to deliver our everyone welcome ambitions

You’ll be helping to build their confidence as they seek to improve the experience of people who visit the places they look after. Your focus will be on access standards, achieving innovation and excellence in presentation standards, interpretation and meeting the needs of all visitors. You’ll do this through training and sharing ideas and practical solutions from both inside and beyond the Trust. You'll champion and evaluate the quality of each experience and interaction a person has with the Trust, monitoring and reporting results both regionally and nationally.
