We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to fulfil the post as Governance Co-ordinator. Based at the company's Pines Hospital in South Manchester, the role joins the Governance and Clinical Services Teams.
The postholder will work under the direction of the Head of Clinical Services and will provide administrative and other support to the Governance Manager and Governance Officer and will be providing reports to support the organisation to deliver its strategic objectives.
Duties will include provision of the analytical reports for the team, supporting routine data activity reporting, projects and service re-design. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and development of appropriate reporting schedules, according to specification, as well as adding further value through expertise in data analysis and interpretation.
Accountabilities
- Production and dissemination of standard reporting in a timely manner and according to schedule
- Extract reports from clinical systems as required. Working with RADAR compliance portal.
- Maintain confidentiality relating to all activity and all data held within the group systems, ensuring data confidentiality principles are adhered to at all times
- Comply with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
- Provide assistance and training to the wider team related to GDPR as required
- Assisting in developing a culture of accurate and transparent data capture and reporting for internal/external audiences/requirements
- Ensure the organisation has accurate and transparent data which will support the business requirements as well as the regulatory requirements of PHIN, CQC, HIW, HIS
- Providing support with processes and protocols and providing data for reports for the Senior Management Team, other Clinical and Governance Committees and other regulatory bodies as requested
- To undertake any other duties, including elements of data input, that support the business as directed
Ideally, applicants should have at least two years working in a data or information environment. Whilst experience gained within an NHS or other healthcare setting would be highly advantageous this is not essential. Experience of PHIN reporting requirements is highly desirable.
Experience of working with MS Excel, MS Access and MS SQL Server along with an understanding of how these systems interconnect with other information systems is desirable.
Applicants should be able to work autonomously and be flexible in their approach in order to contribute to the team.
Salary quoted is dependent upon experience
The position is full time, 40 hours worked Monday - Friday.
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
