Full Stack Software Engineer

We're looking for an enthusiastic and supportive software developer to join our small development team at FLG. We share it with a couple of other brilliant ClearCourse brands, EKM and BrightOffice. Evolution House is known as the "coolest office in the North West" and is burstingwith world class facilities including a 3 storey slide (yes, really), archery, foosball table and pool tables If you don't believe us, Google "EKM Preston" now and take a look at the images. **The Team** You'll be joining a small product team where you will be valued and listened to. You'll be a key player in shaping the technical direction of our features and product. There are currently four software engineers, a Business Analyst and a Product Directorin the team who work together every day. Our processes follow the principles of SCRUM. We also have a lovely support team who look after our customers, as well as a sales and marketing team working with our future customers. Our solutions help organisations become more efficient, effective and profitable, and achieve theirgoals by providing them with technology platforms that integrate seamlessly with the most popular CRM, event management and marketing automation platforms. **Requirements**: **Required skills & experience**: - Skilled JavaScript developer (Node.js, Express, React, TypeScript). - Customer centric approach - always focused on solving a customer problem. - Focused on making products and features as simple and intuitive as possible. - Experience of working with AWS. - Experience and familiarity with PHP to understand logic and flow of the core code base, making changes where required based on the specific feature or bug. - Experience in MySQL. **Desired skills & experience**: Required behaviors & attributes: - Easy and supportive to work with. - Good communicator and team player ready to help all colleagues on the rare occasions things don't go to plan. - Comfortable talking to customers about their experiences and ideas where required. **Benefits** Flexible working, remote first with ideally 1-2 days in the office a week, but we'll find a suitable arrangement for the right person.
