**Location**:
London Hackney and Haringey borough

**Salary**:
£9 - £10 an hour dependant on experience

Need to be ready to work as soon as possible, starting March 2021.

Job description:
Are you dedicated, reliable, hardworking and trustworthy person?

Are you experienced in delivering health/social care within the community or a residential or nursing care setting?
- As_a Support Care Worker, you will provide personalised care and support to older adults who may have long-term life-limiting conditions that mean they require a care team indefinitely. You will work in the principle of Accessible Care Services and deliver emotional and practical care to vulnerable adults, transforming their lives on a daily basis.

You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to provide a high standard of respectful personal care. The role will not only include supporting clinical needs but may also include assistance with their social and personal needs.

Main duties:

- Assist in the development of the philosophy, goals and objectives for the care practice
- Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of care implementation and delivery
- Implement action to meet and maintain care standards
- Work in cooperation with members of multi-disciplinary health teams in order to maximise opportunities for service user therapeutic care
- Ensure service user rights are protected
- Record relevant activities in care plans
- Evaluate standards of care competence

Applicants must be DBS Checked

The hours are flexible, which means you’re able to fit the role around other commitments. It will be on a rota basis, which may include early starts, late finishes and some weekend working.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £9.00-£10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hackney, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
