Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Waste Operative to join our team in managing waste disposal and recycling activities. The role involves working in an outdoor environment and handling various waste materials.

**Duties**:

- Collecting and sorting waste materials for recycling or disposal on a picking line
- Operating waste management equipment such as compactors and balers
- Assisting with the maintenance and cleaning of waste collection areas
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations during waste handling
- Monitoring and reporting any issues related to waste management

**Requirements**:

- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as part of the job role
- Basic mechanical knowledge for operating waste management equipment
- Good physical fitness to work in an outdoor environment
- Strong attention to detail for accurate waste sorting and disposal
- Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Join our team as a Waste Operative and contribute to maintaining a clean and sustainable environment through effective waste management practices.

Pay: £11.55-£11.70 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
