**Specification Sales Manager - Heat Pumps**

Job Title: Specification Engineer - Heat Pumps

Area to be covered: London
Remuneration: £55,000-£60,000 Neg. + up to 20% Bonus
Benefits: Hybrid Car + full benefits package
The role of the Specification Sales Manager Heat Pumps will involve:

- Technical field sales position, selling a manufactured range of exhaust air heat pumps (EAHP)
- Specification sales led position, you will spend the majority of your time winning influence with consulting engineers and M&E consultants
- Small amount of time breaking specifications with main contractors and M&E contractors
- Focus of the role will be on new build flat developments/ high rise residential projects
- Small proportion of time within the refurbishment/ retro-fit market
- 80% new business development role, 20% managing live designs/ projects
- Working on projects from £250,000 up to £5m
- Project cycles typically 18-24 months
- Tasked with helping the team sell an additional 2,000 units
- Conducting approx. 2 x CPM seminars per week (virtually of face to face)
- Joining a new sales team which is anticipating huge growth over the next 6-18 months

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager - Heat Pumps with:

- A proven track record in specification led selling from within the heating industry
- Minimum of 2 years field sales experience, open to more senior experience as our client will have a requirement for someone to manage this team in the short-,medium term
- Ideally with some existing relationships within consulting engineers and M&E consultants
- Open to someone who has been a specifier looking to move into field sales
- Mechanical engineering related experience
- Open to both commercial and domestic heating backgrounds
- Drive and integrity
- Autonomous and trustworthy
- Excellent communication skills with ideally previous experience of presenting CPD seminars
- Energetic and passionate
- Team player
