**_We are looking for a cleaner to join our team in Fenton, Stoke-On-Trent, looking after the day-to-day cleanliness of our office. _**

This role will take responsibility for day-to-day cleaning of the Stoke on Trent office, ensuring, compliance standards are achieved, and that the environment is maintained to a high standard. This includes cleaning offices and workspaces, kitchens, toilets, and common areas.

Hours: 15 hours per week shift options either 16:30- 19:30 or 17:00-20:00

**Your main responsibilities**:

- Carrying out thorough cleaning off the office, which will include vacuuming, dusting, polishing, disposing of refuse, deodorising, mopping
- Operate any powered equipment safely, including vacuum cleaner ensuring health and safety requirements are always followed
- Liaise with appropriate colleagues about specific tasks and requirements
- Ensure the safe storage and handling of cleaning materials in accordance with COSHH requirements
- Comply with the company's Recycling Policy and any other relevant initiatives
- Mitigating accidents and risk by using correct signage as necessary
- Comply with, and if appropriate maintaining, any relevant records (e.g., COSHH / lifting and handling / general office risk assessments) in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations, and any other relevant legislation
- Work as part of a team and can relate respectfully, supportively, and enthusiastically to people who work in the offices
- Manage my own workload and time effectively, communicating with other colleagues as required to ensure a consistent cleaning service

**About You**:

- Previous experience cleaning in an office environment
- Personable and can interact and understand others, developing new relationships, building on existing relationships to ensure trust and mutual respect
- Ability to prioritise my own workload and multitask where necessary
- Outstanding attention to detail
