Working on a weekly early and late rota basis:
Early: Monday to Thursday: 06:00 to 13:45 and Friday: 06:00 to 11:30
Late: Monday to Thursday: 13:00 to 21:15 and Friday: 11:15 to 17:00
**Main Purpose of Job & Accountability**:
The job holder is responsible of the day to day delivery of the Pre-Press service.
Reporting to the Pre-Press Supervisor the job holder is expected to support the delivery of an optimum pre-press service and play a key role in standardising the ways of working (Culture).
The role requires commitment to the goal of minimum downtime associated with the supply of materials to the SMED team.
Services must be 100% quality checked and fed in a manner that neither starves nor over-feeds the change-over team.
Day to day working practices must support the site hygiene, food safety, environmental and safety programmes.
As information and strategies are cascaded from the Pre-Press Supervisor you will be required to support the drive to improve the pre-press processes whilst maintaining compliance at all times.
Flexibility is key to the delivery of the site strategy therefore the job holder must be able to perform all pre-press tasks. Timely execution of your personal training programme is paramount.
Other duties will include your input and attendance to local pre-press forums which are challenged with delivering technical and operational solutions in a cost effective and timely manner.
Clear communication is key to success as the role requires regular dialogue with all print support functions and team members.
The Pre-Press Team is responsible for delivering the day to day pre-press plan in line with budgeted costs.
The job holder must demonstrate strong team-working skills and the day-to-day expression of the appropriate attitudes and behaviours.
Day to day improvement of the internal customer - supplier relationship is paramount. the SMED team must be appropriately serviced with no downtime associated to late or inaccurate supply.

**Principal Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
- Liaising with all internal departments and external suppliers
- Reacting to production plan changes
- Prioritising components against Radius
- Receiving and processing all components
- Updating the Tools Library, relevant spreadsheets and reports
- Creating PO’s for re-glue orders
- Ordering replacement components
- Preparation of jobs, sourcing all components including inks a minimum of three jobs ahead of schedule
- Processing all components after use
This is a fast-moving position in the MCC group and the job holder will be used to working in a pre-press environment, ideally in a label manufacturing background, as well as possessing experience working in a similar sized organisation.
