A**bout the role**:
As a Lettings Administrator within the Lettings Team, you will be a proactive and organised individual who will be able to carry out tasks through to a successful conclusion. The Lettings Administrator will be organised, efficient and able to work alone as well as take instruction from the Lettings Manager and Lettings Co-Ordinator. The key focus will be to ensure our customer enquiries and applicants are progressed through the applicant journey efficiently and with excellent customer service.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Deal with all enquiries relating to property lettings
- Follow up on leads, book viewings and answer customer enquiries regarding properties and the applicant process.
- Manage the applicant database.
- Ensure excellent communication with applicants and general enquiries.
- Keep up to date with the lettings and property market and ensure that all current legislation is met, including ‘Right to Rent’ and the Tenant Fees Act 2019.
- Provide administrative support to the Lettings Team.
- Ensure each applicant is appropriately assessed in line with procedures and criteria.
- Be constantly aware of the many opportunities available within the lettings market and recommend ways to use them to the company’s advantage.
- Aim to exceed the standards of performance and targets set, optimising every opportunity to achieve the company’s goals.
- Take payments and process accordingly.
- Assist with handling complaints in line with the complaint’s procedure.
- Be able to perform viewings and assist with launch events when required.
- To carry out such other duties which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities or as necessitated by the needs of the business.

**Scope of the role**:

- Placefirst expects to grow significantly over the next 3 years and our aim in that time is to reach 6,500 residential units. You will be expected to play a significant part in delivering the best possible experience for our customers and applicants across the portfolio.

**Skills, knowledge and experience**:

- Industry specific knowledge.
- Holds a relevant industry related qualification and accreditation or would be willing to work towards.
- Knowledge of the Tenant Fees Act 2019.
- An understanding of the Right to Rent obligations.
- IT literate.
