**Fractional CFO I Scaling VR Retailer I London I 6-Month Contract.**

**The Client.**

Harmonic are pleased to announce they have partnered with a rapidly scaling start-up who have recently secured Series-B VC funding of £40 million. They are looking for an experienced Fractional/Portfolio CFO to work on an interim basis, 2 days a week on6-month contract. The start-up an innovative take on the fast-growing VR consumer market, with potential for massive growth in the near future.

**The Role**.

This role offers the opportunity to join the business as a Fractional CFO, a team of committed relatively junior but committed professionals. Key responsibilities will include:

- Drive commercial performance.
- Provide digestible and insightful updates to the Board.
- Liaise with Venture Capital investors.
- Implement processes for FP&A.
- Manage and develop a small finance function, while also being open to facilitating expansion.
- Willingness to get hands-on with both balance sheet and commercial accounting.
- Annual budget management, review, and monitoring through forecasting and internal reporting.

**What we need to see (Essential Skills)**
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
- Prior experience within a start-up environment
- Willingness to be 'hands on' across the finance function.
- Able to build and scale up the team.

**Bonus experience**
- Prior work experience in a scaling/high-growth environment.

**Offered package**:

- £700 - £900 per day (Outside IR35) - 2 days a week.

**Start date**:ASAP
