**Devops Engineer - (REMOTE) - Machine Learning / MLOps**

Remote (UK preferred)

£65k - £75k

This is a newly-created Machine Learning opportunity for an experienced Devops Engineer to join a the Technology R&D team of a Global Engineering organisation as part of their mission to deliver their Intelligent Infrastructure (IoT) program to revolutionisethe Civil Engineering industry.

This would be an ideal oppoprtunity for an experienced DevOps / SysOps specialist with an interest in ML / Data Science and some experience with tools such as Apache Spark, AirFlow, Hadoop or Databricks.

This team are a group of passionate technologists specialising across Software Engineering, Devops, IoT and Data Science and operate with the autonomy of a startup, but with the financial backing of a Global business - the best of both worlds.

After strong growth in the last 12 months, the next phase of the strategy is to grow the Data Science team and this role offer the future opportunities to gain experience in deploying ML into production systems and delivering ML and AI architecture.

Working closely with both Data Science & Devops Leads, your responsibility will bridge across proof of concept development (Data Science) and product maintenance (Devops).

**Nice to have experience**:

- Experience with Spark/Databricks (preferred), Apache Airflow, Hadoop or similar
- Databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- Data lake technology (e.g. Azure Data Lake)
- CI/CD
- ETL/ELT
- Cloud platforms / Devops (AWS or Azure)
- Containerisation (Kubernetes / Docker)
- Python or C#
