We are currently looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join our busy team in Stafford

The Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for the full life cycle delivery of the project in both technical compliance and quality. Attending meetings with clients to discuss the design, surveys, programming, configuration, testing and commissioning.

**Full-time position** (08:30-17:15 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:00 on Fridays)

**Salary**:£25K - £45K

**Control Systems Engineer Duties**:

- Writing detailed functional design specifications
- The configuration of system architecture, network connections
- Production, modification, testing and commissioning of SCADA & PLC software
- UK Site commissioning (which may involve short periods away from home)
- For Lead positions we would look for the ability to manage and motivate a team of engineers to get the best output.

**Control Systems Engineer Requirements**:

- Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication
- Previous control system experience ( 2 years+ )
- Experience of PLC programming of either Mitsubishi products and / or Rockwell Automation Logix platforms.
- Clean UK Driving License
- Must be eligible to work in the UK

For applicants with less than 2 years’ experience we would consider a trainee role. For applicants with over 5 years’ experience and people management skills we could consider a Lead position.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience of SCADA configuration packages such as Siemens WinCC, Rockwell FTViewSE, Wonderware InTouch / System Platform, Schneider ClearSCADA.
- Experience of other PLC Programming such as Siemens / GE / Omron.
