We are actively recruiting an ambitious, driven, and caring Care Co-ordinator for our growing Office in Newport to manage and develop the business and ensure compliance at all times.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**

To be accountable to the Registered Manager
Ensure outstanding compliance across the business and to support the business in achieving a minimum of “Good” in CSSIW inspections
To ensure the scheduling is carried out efficiently enabling the CareGivers to spend the allocated care time with each Client working closely with the Lead Care Coordinator.

To carry out on call tasks one weekend out of four.

To answer the telephone promptly, giving your name and correct Office greeting
Ensure the provision of high quality care services to vulnerable people living in their own home and when out in the community.
To ensure all appropriate documentation (where applicable) is received from the Local Authority

To record all new care packages and changes to the existing care packages on the system immediately they are received
To report weekly to the Registered Manager all increases, decreases in care packages
To identify the most suitable CareGivers for each package
To roster CareGivers on the system, to specific Clients on a permanent basis within one week of the package commencing
To provide CareGivers with accurate and timely schedules of work to be carried out, and similarly Clients are sent their schedules in a timely manner
Ensure all CareGivers submit their timesheets weekly which are accurately completed, and match these to what is on the system
To plan ahead to cover holidays, training and planned absence
To maintain accurate records on the system of all communications and changes to Clients and Care Givers
To participate in on call duties if required and deliver hands on care when necessary

**Person Specification**
**Qualifications & Experience**
Ideally QCF/NVQ level 2 or 3 in Adult Social Care - though not essential

Previous domiciliary care experience is ideal

**Abilities, Skills & Behaviours**

Highly driven and ambitious, who has the desire to make a real difference and greatly improve an already well-established business
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to talk passionately about our services and values to potential referral sources

Good computer skills including proficient use of MS Office, the ability to produce reports and good computer systems knowledge

Self-motivated and flexible, with a willingness to participate in an on call system for out of office hours

Extremely well organized, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail

Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
