Canine Carer

Responsibilities:

- Provide care for our beloved pack of dogs, to include enrichment activities, grooming, behaviour monitoring, training And more
- Assist with general running of the canine facility
- Shared responsibility of driving our ‘School Bus’ to collect dogs from their homes and taking them home in the afternoons
- some light admin duties
- take part in Dog Show performances and trade shows
- assisting with health checks and lunchtime duties
- Provide support to clientele
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the pack

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in canine care preferred
- Full & clean drivers licence a must
- Animal care qualifications preferred
- minimum level 2

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and confident around dogs is essential to the role
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work alongside other staff members
- Ability to complete home based CPD training as required by licensing requirements

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
