We’re hiring for a **Factory Operative** to join a specialist packaging manufacturer based in **Hyde, Tameside **to improve and maintain the quality of the company’s products by carrying out quality checks at the end of the manufacturing process.

**What’s on offer?**
- £11.60 - £12.20 per hour
- Monday - Thursday 6:30 am - 6:30 pm (48 hours per week)
- 4-day work week
- Overtime available at enhanced rates
- Free onsite parking

**What will you be doing as a Factory Operative?**
- Conducting rigorous inspections and quality checks on incoming raw materials and components to ensure they meet company standards
- Monitoring and evaluating production processes to ensure they adhere to established quality control standards and specifications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers and production staff, to address and resolve quality-related issues
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures, guidelines, and documentation to maintain consistency and traceability in the manufacturing process

**What do you need?**
- A good level of Maths & English
- Previous experience within a production environment
- Familiarity with conducting audits and assessments would be an advantage
- The ability to communicate effectively within various levels across the business

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.60-£12.20 per hour
