JOB LOCATION

Hybrid working with days in our Bury St Edmunds offices. This usually comprises 3-4 days in an office and 1-2 days working from home.

SUMMARY OF ROLE

Start your career in legal finance as a Trainee Accounts Assistant.

DETAILS

Atkins Dellow have a reputation for doing a great job while being friendly and personable, not stuffy or pompous, but absolutely focused on looking after our clients’ best interests. We are seeking like-minded individuals to join our Accounts team.

Ideally you will be a team player with the ability to work under pressure showing commitment to your colleagues and the Firm in general.

**Specific Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Full remit of Client and Office Account cashiering duties, timely and accurate processing of all data
- Nominal and Purchase ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- BACS and CHAPS payments
- Reviewing completion and distribution statements
- Credit control
- Report to the Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Strong administration skills, well organised and able to multi-task
- Team player with the ability to organise own workload and adapt/prioritise as necessary
- The ability to work under pressure showing commitment to your colleagues and the Firm in general
- PC proficient especially in Microsoft Office
- Driving licence is preferable as the head office is not on a public transport route

**Experience Required**:

- Full training will be given but demonstrable experience in an accounts setting would be advantageous

**Job Type**:

- Full time Monday to Friday 9.00 to 5.00 or Part Time Monday to Friday 9.00 to 1.00
Hybrid working once fully trained, days to be agreed (flexible week on week)
