We are looking to appoint a Business Controller to join our Finance team. You would play a pivotal part within the team, adding value through production of consistent and quality monthly reporting and short and long-term forecasting. This role is full-time and is based in Runcorn.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing business stream forecasts, feeding into the overall Market Unit consolidation
- Uploading forecasts and budgets to both SAP and IBM Cognos (TM1)
- Preparing, uploading and checking phasing (P&L/Balance Sheet/Key Figures, FTE)
- Completing the Sales and EBIT review and reconciling prior to tight monthly reporting deadlines
- Preparing business stream month end journals and month end management reporting
- Making sales commentary and preparing slides to feed into the Market Unit monthly board pack
- Ensuring controls around the month end reporting process are maintained and enhanced where necessary
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and being the point of contact for Finance queries
- Supporting your business stream management in controlling and managing the costs within their budget
- Improving and developing existing business models that meet the needs of the business and delivering consistent and accurate financial information

Qualifications:

- Qualified Accountant, either CIMA or ACCA
- Post qualified, with experience in a Management Accountant or FP&A role
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft office and ERP business IT systems, ideally SAP
- Ability to work on own initiative and develop proactive solutions to business problems
- A drive to own and improve processes
- Good commercial skills and awareness
