Hygiene Operative

ACS Specialist Cleaning Ltd have a vacancy for a Hygiene Operative to join our team at Cereal Partners Worldwide in Staverton, Trowbridge. You will be performing high and low level cleaning within the industrial food sector.

The successful individual will work as part of a team, lead by a Supervisor. Together, you will ensure the factory and facilities are cleaned to a high standard. You will be responsible for completion of all relevant checklists and adhere to the work schedule. It is vital to pay full attention to Health & Safety requirements. Use of chemicals and equipment in the correct manner, adhering to the risk assessment and method statements provided, ensuring safe systems of working at all times.

**The skills and experience we are looking for**:

- Experience in working in the food industry
- Industrial H&S knowledge and experience using Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Good verbal and written English
- IPAF 3a & 3b licence - desirable but willing to train
- FLT licence - desirable but willing to train
- Comfortable working at height & within confined spaces
- High personal standards
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and ability to work well as part of a team

**Hours of work**:
2 week shift pattern - 12hr days / 6am-6pm

**Week 1**: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (5 days)

**Week 2**: Wednesday & Thursday (2 days)

Flexibility may be required due to line shut down, and overtime to meet the needs of the contract.

**Salary**:
£12.38 per hour Mon - Fri

£13.62 per hour Sat - Sun

**Allergen Advice: The factory uses wheat and nut products, including peanuts.**

**Strong magnets are used on site, so anyone with a pacemaker would be unsuitable.**
