Production Technician
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Production Technician to join a manufacturer company based in Fordingbridge. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities as a Production Technician:

- Overseeing the running of the Automated Pick and Place Line (APPL) which includes materials storage, board handling, solder printing and much more
- Monitoring the performance of the line, ensuring materials can continue running the line, prepare job change overs and closing down jobs.
- Dealing with stock control and materials handling on various systems.
- Quality checks such as print inspection, first off procedures, line and machinery reports
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on the machinery
- Report any technical issues, drops in performance, quality problems, or machinery defects to the relevant staff
- Run the production line when senior members of staff are absent, i.e., meetings, annual leave, breaks or split shifts.
- Assist with any tasks required by the company

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a production/ manufacturing environment (full training will be provided)
- An interest in electronic and technical products
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Have a good attention to detail and ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Production Technician role is full time, permanent position. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 17:00pm and Friday 8:30am - 16:00pm. There may be occasional change of shift pattern. The salary is £22,000 per year.
