Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk

Purchase Ledger Clerk required for a well-established and environmentally conscious service business based in Stafford on a full-time, temporary basis for a minimum of 4 weeks, with an immediate start available. Reporting into the Senior Management Accountantand working as part of a small and welcoming team, you will be responsible for processing and obtaining authorisation for invoices, ensuring a clean and tidy purchase ledger.
**Key Responsibilities**
- 3-way matching and processing 4-500 purchase invoices per week, in accurate and timely manner.
- Reconciling the purchase ledger to supplier statements
- Dealing with suppliers on a daily basis, resolving queries politely and efficiently
- Compiling supplier payment lists and assisting with making payments
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as and when required.
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk who is able to hit the ground running with mínimal supervision. You must have high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
The business are based in the office full time and work a 37.5 hour working week.
