It’s a whole new chapter for our technology delivery portfolios, operations, architecture and strategic planning teams and we’re looking for a leaderto join the IT department who will provide strategic direction to the entire Trust to ensure successful delivery of IT services.

What it's like to work here **Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree remote working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. The role will involve travel to our head office tomeet with stakeholders and your teams.**

The Trust is continuing to invest in technology in order to deliver ambition strategic goals. Our IT department delivers operation support and several sizable business driven programmes at any one time, as well as supporting a large operational nationaluser base of 12,000 staff, 60,000 volunteers and 5.5 million members.

What you'll be doing In this role you will lead a team of up to 10 direct reports and have overall leadership and management of a team of specialist staff and suppliers. You will need to engage with external suppliers and partners who can help the Trust to deliver innovativetechnology solutions, learning from their industry experience and best practice.

We’re looking for someone who has proven experience of delivering strategic direction and solutions at a senior level within an organisation. You’ll have responsibility for the strategic planning of the Trust Technology Road map and transformation of ITservices; working with Regions, properties, Directorates and partners in industry to deliver technology innovation for the Trust which will ensure successful delivery over an intense and extended period of change.

Keeping close to market trends and taking learnings from your network of external suppliers and partners, you’ll lead for innovation in technology across the Trust, creating a strategically aligned framework, engaging with all areas of the Trust to identifyand deliver new technology opportunities.

- An inspirational leader, able to motivate teams to succeed.
- You will have experience of delivering IT operational services in complex environments.?
- You will be highly analytical and be able to combine strategic analysis and insight with the ability to get hands on as appropriate.
- You will have strong presentation and inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate and interpret complex issues at Board level.
- You will have knowledge of technology solutions, architectural design and strategic planning skills
- You will have knowledge of using agile & iterative
