**Part time - 15 hours a week. Monday and Tuesday 7.5 hours a day.**

Shaw healthcare is looking for a **GENERAL PORTER/HANDYPERSON**to join the team at **Ledbury Care Centre** You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those who we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive.
Duties include:
General portering duties of a routine nature under guidance of the General Manager/ Clinical Manager, including:
escorting patients and visitors
movement of patients by wheelchair, stretcher or bed
general mortuary duties
collection and disposal of refuse
collection and delivery of post
collection and delivery of laundry
collection and delivery of stores
movement of furniture
carrying out minor repairs, changing light bulbs/repairs to tap washers etc
keep drains, gutters and gullies clear
clean light fittings
maintain wheelchairs as required
