My client works within design, NPI and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a Junior Compliance Engineer / Compliance Assistant Engineering Technician, on a permanent basis, in the Surrey area.
**The Junior Compliance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes**:

- NVQ, BTEC, HND, Degree qualification or similar in Engineering or Safety Testing ideally or similar
- Knowledge of the approval process (CE, REACH / RoHS, CE, CB)
- Good technical knowledge
- Previous experience working in a similar manufacturing or development environment would be beneficial
- Good knowledge of EMC / Radio would be ideal
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Have good communication skills both verbal and written

**The Junior Compliance Engineer role will involve**:

- Supporting the engineering team
- Reporting to the Product Compliance Manager
- Working within the NPI team on sustaining engineering projects
- Ensuring products perform as they should
- Checking the compliance of electro-mechanical / electrical components
- Collating the necessary documentation
- Being involved in testing and validation
- Maintaining approvals documentation and certifications as required
- Conducting lab testing to ensure that designs meet the approvals requirements
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety at all times
