**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered during transport.
- Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

**Skills**
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Experience driving vans or similar vehicles is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial.
- A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated is essential.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour
