**Assistant Planner - Construction**

Location: Bristol

Company: Main Contractor / Construction

**Salary**: £30,000 - £40,000 plus car/allowance, pension, health

We're working with an award winning main contractor that is looking for an Assistant Planner to work on projects in and around the Bristol area. The successful Assistant Planner will work closely with a Senior Planner and interact daily with projects teams and subcontractors. You will initially be site based and gain exposure to a varied range of interesting construction projects, then over time progress into working on pre-construction and tenders.

**Experience required for the Assistant Planner role**:

- An individual with 1-2 years post grad experience in another discipline such as Construction Management, Engineering, Design, BIM etc. or a Trainee/Assistant Planner seeking a fresh challenge.
- Some exposure to programming software such as Asta or Microsoft Project would be beneficial.
- Key skills to include Communication, Information Technology, Attention to detail, Problem solving, Analytical, Logical, Team working, Creative, Initiative.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
