Cedar vale is a 10 bedded hospital which caters for individuals with a diagnosis of learning disability and or autism spectrum disorder who may have behaviours that challenge. We offer a large space set in beautiful grounds which allows for a positive environment for recovery. You will be part of a friendly therapy team which consists of an Occupational therapist and another Activity coordinator.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours a week (rolling rota including some weekends)

**Your, day-to-day**
- Develop, plan, implement & oversee activities, outings & events for the people in our care
- Provide fun & constructive leisure time, as well as appropriate physical & emotional support
- Ensure the provision of staff, space & materials for all activities
- Ensure all service users have a meaningful and individual timetable.
- Oversee the creation of promotional materials for events

- Knowledgeable of suitable activities & pastimes to support mental health service users
- Positive in your approach to working with challenging behaviours
- Experienced in planning, resourcing & carrying out events & activities
