**The Role - Cleaner**

Pinnacle Group are looking for a Part Time Cleaning Operative to work at a large extra care facility based in Heckmondwike. It will be your duty to ensure that the overall standard of cleaning is maintained to a good standard throughout your location.

Working Pattern: 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hours to be determined.

**Duties/Key Responsibilities**
- To comply with the service level agreement.
- To ensure appropriate PPE/Uniform are always used during working hours.
- To ensure the correct use of cleaning materials and understand the safe use of all substances and managed to COSHH regulations.
- To ensure the correct collection, storage, and removal of waste/rubbish from work area to collection point.
- To ensure you are adhering to the colour coding directives and are regularly changing mop heads, cloths, and other equipment.
- To check and replenish all consumables
- To attend to spillages and other emergency cleaning including Clinical Clean.
- To clean and sanitise touch points, door handles, push plates, and other surfaces.
- To attend training as and when required.
- Damp-wipe / polish of surfaces, fixtures and fittings
- Vacuum all soft floors and carpets including barrier matting
- Emptying waste bins
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks etc.
- Advising Manager of materials/equipment required, ensuring stores and equipment are kept secure and in accordance with health and safety requirements
- To take instruction and advice from the Site Lead and Cleaning Supervisor
- Deep cleaning and use of cleaning chemicals

**Skills Required**:

- Good communication skills.
- The ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and to set schedules.
- Good knowledge of the use of cleaning chemicals
- Cleaning experience in a care environment would be preferred
