Support Worker - Doncaster - £10.72 Per Hour.

Typical Shifts are: Monday - Sunday - Days: 07:30-14:30, 14:30-21:30 - Doubles: 7.30am to 9.30pm - Nights: 9.30pm - 7.30am.

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people

Our residential service in Doncaster is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be encouraging the people we support to take part in a variety of activities, both at the home and in the community. In house activities include baking, arts and crafts, playing board games, themed nights and gardening. Hamilton Lodge makes full use of local facilities such as the swimming pool, the cinema, local parks and local Mencap facilities.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice, experience with learning disabilities and autism is preferred.
