Dutypoint is a rapidly expanding manufacturer and supplier of pumps and pump systems and Packaged Utility Rooms (PUR). This role is specifically part of the PUR Team. Based at our manufacturing facility in Units 1&2 Shepherd Road, Gloucester, the successful applicant for this role will enjoy being part of a vibrant team, working in an enjoyable atmosphere alongside great colleagues. **Scope of job**
To efficiently carry out QA inspections on Packaged Utility Rooms ensuring all units are completed to a high standard that is suited to prestigious residential apartments. This includes being responsible for all supporting documentation, problem resolution and process audits to support the ISO 9001 Quality Management system

**Principal Responsibilities/Duties**
- Ensuring quality check procedures are followed at every stage of production
- Documenting any quality issues and creating a system for recording such documentation
- Creating/updating procedure checklists and coordinating with other Inspectors/Team Leaders
- Training new staff
- Dealing with customer feedback and complaints
- QA inspection directly on to electronic QA system
- Completing all supporting documentation relating to the QA procedure
- Supporting Project Mgr. in investigation, resolution and reporting on customer issues
- Updating test methods when required
- Supporting review of customer specs
- Maintaining calibration system including arranging external calibrations & upkeep of records for tooling
- Assisting and even managing quality activities in relation with production
- Testing product materials from suppliers
- Setting and tracking assurance goals
**Principal Skills and attributes**:

- The ability to analyse the quality and performance of a product
- An understanding of industry safety standards
- Ability to work independently and in teams with infrequent supervision and reviewing
- The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- High attention to details to ensure proper manufacturing, installation and operation of products
- Good analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analyses and devise suitable preventive action plans
- Flexibility and openness to change
- An understanding of the software utilised in the industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate new processes clearly and document critical aspects of the job
- Excellent interpersonal and team-player skills
- Good mathematical skills and proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
