If so we have a great opportunity for you as a Support Worker to join an organisation who will offer ongoing training and support as well as excellent staff benefits**.

**Your new opportunity**

**Renfrewshire SLI** service are currently recruiting **part time & relief Support Workers offering 20-30 hours per week**. The service provides support to individuals with a wide range of learning and physical disabilities within there own home. We offer day-to-day supports to people who can flourish within their local community and surroundings. We adapt the support we deliver to meet the needs of each person to enable them to live in there own home and make use of local resources.

**Working Pattern** Early shifts (morning), late shifts (afternoons / evenings) day shifts &sleepover shifts. Please note we manage shifts on a rotational basis where staff work a variety of shifts to meet the need of the people we support and will include working weekends. Sleepover shifts are paid at an hourly rate of £10.90 and can also offer extra earning potential.

**Grahame** lives in the Barrhead area and has his own car. Grahame requires full support with his daily living tasks i.e washing, dressing, shaving, meal preparation and household tasks. Grahame likes watching movies, and WWF wrestling. Grahame enjoys attending social clubs and meeting new people. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team and support Grahame as he makes the transition into living in his own home in the heart of Barrhead.

**David **is an outgoing young man with a good sense of humour in his early 40's who has an acquired brain which has affected his short term memory. David lives in his home in Thornliebank area and enjoys going to the ice hockey, cinema, swimming, fishing, music gigs and concerts and meeting up with his friends to go out for meals and to play a game of pool. David requires support, encouragement and promoting with all his daily living skills managing his home, socialising out in the community, planning and organising activities, outings and appointments, with the aim to remain as independent as possible. We are looking for a highly motivated, positive and proactive individual who also enjoys outdoor activities and shares similar interests.
