**We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual who is an expert in regulation, compliance and quality to join us as Lead for Regulation and Compliance.**:
The Lead for Regulation and Compliance, working closely with the Associate Director for Quality and Safety, will lead on all elements of CQC compliance and registration. The post holder will also support the delivery of the Trust strategic objectives and Quality strategy. In addition, they will co-ordinate the collection and monitoring of evidence to provide assurance of compliance with the Integrated Care System (ICS) Quality Assurance requirements.

The Lead for Regulation and Compliance will support with the development of Quality Improvement systems and processes, implement the findings of governance reviews, and ensure that the Quality Strategy is delivered across all hospital sites and relevant community services.

The purpose of this job is to support the Deputy Chief Nurse - Assurance, Improvement and Innovation, in ensuring the organisation is compliant with relevant Healthcare standards and is compliant with its provider licence.

Being the organisation’s CQC registration expert, the post holder will ensure that systems and processes are in place to maintain CQC legislation and to provide the Trust Board and other key stakeholders with on-going assurance of compliance and on-going improvement against fundamental standards.

**Working for our organisation**:
**As Head of Regulation and Compliance, you will work with the Deputy Chief Nurse - Assurance, Innovation and Improvement, on behalf of the Chief Nurse, and will establish and lead a Programme Management Office (PMO) with responsibility for ensuring that Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) is compliant with the requirements as set out by the CQC and other regulators. You will be accountable for the co-ordination of the programme, any sub-projects and management of their interdependencies.**:
**The role will require an individual who can work closely with clinical and corporate colleagues both within the Hospital and also across and the wider local health and care system.**:

- Highly developed specialist knowledge underpinned by theory and experience with qualifications to Masters level or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Project Management / Service Improvement training
- IT skills (EITS) or equivalent

**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Demonstrable specialist knowledge in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation and Microsoft Project. Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures.
