We are looking for Care Assistants to join our team providing 24 hour care for a lovely lady living with Alzheimer's disease in the family home in Burnham-on-Sea.

**Shift pattern -**

**Week 1**

**Monday 14:15-21:45**

**Tuesday 14:15-21:45**

**Friday 07:00-14:15**

**Saturday 14:15-21:45**

**Sunday 07:00-14:15**

**Week 2**

**Tuesday 14:15-21:45**

**Wednesday 07:00-14:15**

**Thursday 14:15-21:45**

**Friday 14:15-21:45**

- As a Care Assistant you will be required to provide care throughout the day and/or night._
- Tasks such as companionship and activities, personal care, administration of medication and household management will be required._

She likes music, dancing, food, sensory activities, picture books. walks and enjoys nothing better than an ice cream at the seaside.

It is essential you have a caring nature, good communication skills and really want to make a difference. You must also be self motivated and reliable.

Criteria:

- Good communication skills (fluent in written and spoken English)
- A caring nature
- Experience working as a care assistant preferably with experience in providing dementia care
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
