The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) secures UK and global prosperity by promoting international trade and investment and championing free trade. Inward investment is crucial to the UK’s economic growth, bringing more jobs and helping us recover from the economic impact of COVID-19.
This role represents an exciting opportunity to develop and lead the DBT investment function in Wales, where DBT now has dedicated teams. As an Investment Lead you will work closely with the Welsh Government, investment organisations, city and growth deals and local authorities to ensure UK Government support is most effectively deployed to maximise delivery of successful inward investment.
