**SITE: BROXBURN**

**HOURS: 10:00AM - 18:00PM**

**DAYS: MONDAY - FRIDAY (NO WEEKEND WORK)**

**CONTRACT TYPE: FULL TIME, PERMANENT (37.5 HOURS PER WEEK)**

Due to rapid growth and expansion, we are seeking Despatch Operatives to join our rewarding team at our site in Broxburn.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To store beef products, and select then prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring these are to specification
- Use a handheld scan device to scan products in to/out of the computerised system of business
- Safely and efficiently operate machinery (may include strapping machine, pallet wrapper)
- Extensive manual handling of product
- Secure orders for transport
- Load orders onto trailer units, using a FLT or pallet truck, for despatch
- Participate in stock counts
- Ensure all relevant records and paperwork are maintained accurately

For those who have not worked in this sort of environment before, please be aware that because we are processing beef the temperature of the air in the dispatch area is cold. Full personal protective equipment is provided (PPE).

Rate of pay starts at £9.50 and will increase with training.
