Dog Walker

EOC Canine Academy is a dog walking and pet sitting business offering outstanding care to all animals across Northampton, Wellingborough, Bozeat and Kettering.

Due to growth of the business we are looking for an extra pair of hands. For the right person we are able to offer an immediate start.

The ideal person will:

- Be able to do overnight sits in the clients home.
- Be able to work on one weekend a month.
- Live in Wellingborough or surrounding areas
- Is generally available between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday-Friday, however would also be open to occasional evening and weekend work.
- Has a clean UK driving licence with full access to a car which is suitable for safely transporting up to 4 dogs at a time.
- Is confident around all breeds and sizes of dog.
- Has the strength and stamina to walk up to 4 dogs at a time (on and off lead), for multiple hours a day.
- Is happy to go out in all weather conditions.
- Can work alone confidently and has good time-keeping and organisational skills.
- Has excellent communication skills as checking in with clients is an important part of the job.
- Is happy and able to do overnight house sitting in the clients home.
- Can provide an up-to-date, clean DBS check upon request.
- Is IT literate (a smart phone with access to social media apps is essential).
- Has experience with animals either as an owner; or through volunteering or employment.

This job is offered on a self-employed basis (you will be a sub-contractor for EOC Canine Academy) and your income will vary depending on the amount of work that is offered and what you accept. On-going support and help will be provided by us regarding all aspects of the job (eg. contacting clients; organising your schedule; issues with dogs; self-employed responsibilities; etc.). We will provide you with work and you will be covered by our business insurance for the work you do on our behalf. We will also do all invoicing, marketing and other admin on your behalf. To help cover the costs of these services a small commission will be taken from your monthly earnings.
