A small but well established Independent Fostering agency with a Good OFSTED is looking for a Senior Supervising Social worker to join their team. This IFA ensures their social workers have a low caseload (10-12) so they can provide the best possible supportto their foster families. Which in turn means you can go home every day feeling fulfilled in your job and less stressed

For this role they are offering a very competitive salary of up to up to £39k and great benefits - £100 per month car allowance, £100 per week for out of hours (and an extra £50 per bank holiday worked), an attractive annual leave of 27 days with the opportunityto increase over time
- so that you can take time for yourself and afford the lifestyle that you desire.

**Some of your responsibilities would include**:

- Ensuring that the protection of children and the promotion of their welfare are given priority in all activities and that any safeguarding matters are recorded, investigated and acted upon appropriately
- Supporting, supervising and managing of approved foster carers
- Supporting and advising Supervising Social Workers and foster carers with regard to court assessment work
- Undertaking training and development to ensure your skills, knowledge and skills are kept up to date

**Requirements**:

- Social work qualification
- Experience in fostering
- Experience in working as a Supervising Social Worker
- Driver's license
- DBS check
