Now, we’re looking for a Veterinary Services Director to join us on a full-time basis and lead our clinical teams.

**The Role**
As the Veterinary Services Director, you will be responsible for leading our clinical teams, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class veterinary care and developing a strategy for continually improving, and expanding access to, our affordable services.
You will develop an innovative and sustainable clinical strategy to increase the accessibility and affordability of our services to ensure pet owners in financial hardship can access the veterinary care they need.
Embedding a healthy, positive culture, you will attract and maintain a highly engaged team, providing them with compelling career pathways.
You will develop and maintain strategic partnerships and relationships, as well as supporting the development of pragmatic clinical guidelines that support low-cost veterinary care.
Additionally, you will act as senior veterinary surgeon and be an executive team member, meaning you will have overall responsibility for veterinary direction and delivery within our organisation and will have a pivotal hand in the direction of our organisationas a whole.
**About You**
To be considered as the Veterinary Services Director, you will need:
- Demonstrable experience as a Veterinary Director or in a relevant senior veterinary role managing large national teams
- Experience working with committees and boards
- Significant experience leading large operational teams
- The demonstrable ability to strategically plan and deliver organisational change
- To be passionate about animals, the value they have in society and a genuine interest in improving animal welfare
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills
- To be a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
- A full, valid driving licence
Experience of public speaking and working with the media would also be favourable.
Please note, both homebased and hybrid options are available. This role involves travel to our different sites across the country.
The salary for this role is a Grade 1.
