MacKenzie King is recruiting for the role of part-time Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and employee-owned business. Working circa 24 hours per week this role offers the opportunity to join a successful business as part of a developing, well supported team.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Purchase Ledger processing and scanning for the UK and US
- Maintaining Supplier accounts to make prompt payments
- Invoice checks and verifications and obtain approval for invoices from relevant departments
- Preparation of payment runs
- Updating annual schedules for budget preparation
- Processing and coding of expenses and monthly credit cards.
- Intercompany Reconciliation
- Sales Ledger for the UK and US
- Processing of Bank Statement with Sales ledger receipting and Purchase Ledger Payments
- Collation of foreign income, W-8BEN forms
- Bank Reconciliations UK and US
- Managing internal and external Purchase and Sale Ledger inquiries

**Key Skills and Experience**
- Ability to be dynamic and use initiative to solve problems
- Have a high attention to detail
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of accounts system change/IT upgrades would be an advantage

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
