**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients and food items as directed by the kitchen team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Support chefs and cooks during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed.
- Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the kitchen management promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn about food preparation and culinary practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards helping others.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A genuine interest in the culinary field, with aspirations to grow within the hospitality industry.
