There are exciting new job opportunities available across the SOUTH, to join a well-renowned organisation as a permanent staff member of their forensic teams.
Locations include: Surrey - Staines
You will be joining an exceptional team of professionals who offer critical services to those held in custody, working closely with the police to deliver appropriate healthcare within the custody suite. Duties will include:
**_Top to Toe Clinical Assessment_**
**_Collecting Forensic Samples_**
**_Giving advice/guidance and implementing appropriate interventions_**
**_Ensuring Health & Safety of detainees_**
**_Supporting the Criminal Justice System_**
You will be from either a **Nursing or a Paramedic background** and have (ideally) 3 years post qualification experience.
This will be a fast-paced role and you are expected to be able to work well autonomously, playing an active role in the collection of forensic evidence, to help police with their investigations. Individuals can be detained for up to 24 hours and during thistime, they are under your care and no two days will be the same Your responsibilities may include **acute medical emergencies**, **mental health crises**, assessment and **safeguarding of Children and young people** or **drug and alcohol management** to name a few.
There is also excellent **developmental opportunities** within the organisation, starting with a comprehensive training programme and career structure.
