Supporting the Production Manager.

Supervise, organise and assist manufacturing, labelling, and filling or our products. You will assist with the organisation and monitoring of workflow on the production floor and look to use efficiency to maximise production output and profits. Ensures production floor is clean and safe for all staff members.

Skill
- Skills : Manufacturing / Production background
- Previously worked as a Team Leader or Supervisor
- SAGE knowledge useful.
Production Supervisor Job Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Oversee a team of machine operators
- Priorities workload
- Increase efficiencies & ensure efficient workflow is maintained
- Reduce waste
- Communication within production team and other departments.
- Assists on the production, making and filling of products if required
- Ensures stock accuracy and inventory are kept up to date and other general reporting
- Implement the production policies / procedures and update as required
- Ensure the team meet production deadlines
- Communicates expectations to production workers and appraises their performance
- Addresses production problems as they arise
- Ensure planned maintenance is performed and organises repair or replacement faulty production equipment with the engineering team.
- Report team performance to production manager and keeping and hitting KPI's
- Train new production workers / ensure required H&S training is delivered so they can perform their duties safely
- Implements recommended manufacturing cost reduction strategies

**As a Team Leader you will be responsible for**:

- Leading, motivating and overseeing a team of production operatives to ensure schedules and targets are met within a safe and collaborative environment
- Supporting the training and development of operatives within your team to enable them to progress within the business
- Driving standards and quality across the production line to improve right first time and reduce issues and delays
- Working closely with Operatives and leadership team to ensure all are aligned and communication flows both ways
- Supporting process and quality improvements
**You will have the following skills and experience**:

- Experience within a manufacturing/production environment
- Hard working and motivated
- SAGE production control preferable
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
- Interest in process improvement and increasing performance
- Can do attitude happy to lead by example
