Credit Control Administrator

**About the role**

We have a great opportunity, working in our Accounts Receivable - Sales Ledger team, for someone looking to work part time mornings with an 8.00 am start.

Reporting to the Sales Ledger Manager, this role is perfect for someone with an aptitude for debt collection as you will be expected to:

- collect outstanding debts as they become due ensure that overdue balances are kept to a minimum
- reduce debtor days and reduce ledger value
- deliver an efficient & effective service to both internal & external customers at all times.
- provide all processing functionalities relating Direct Debit runs within the Sales Ledger department.
- deliver an efficient & effective service to both internal branches & external customers at all times.

**Role Responsibility**
- Reducing Ledger Balance
- Chasing accounts using aged ledger
- Managing Contra payments
- Supporting Cash Allocation
- Highlighting Doubtful debt
- Daily Direct Debit Runs
- Download and Process Bank Reports - Arudd and Addacs
- To provide support and holiday/sickness cover to other team members within Sales Ledger.

**TECHNICAL SKILLS**

Excel (knowledge of vlookups desirable)

Word

Sap (Desirable)

Bottomline Technologies (Desirable)

Previous Credit Control experience is desirable

To be IT literate with previous office experience desirable preferably within Accounts Receivable

Experience in dealing with customers and reconciling customer accounts
