Lindy Electronics is a leading global supplier of cable and connectivity solutions. Its UK operation is headquartered in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees. With over three thousand products Lindy provides a one stop resource for cables and connection technologies.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has a creative flair and who would like to develop and grow their marketing career here at Lindy.
The Design team are responsible for creating imagery and graphics, that support the Lindy brand including letters, banners, logos, catalogues, advertising materials, packaging and any other business requirements. The Graphic Designer is also responsible for product photography and as an apprentice you would also be involved in this field.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Attend and complete Level 3 Digital Marketing Apprenticeship
- Creating company graphics including banners, logos animated images etc and utilising them where required.
- Creating product packaging designs. Liaising with colleagues in Marketing and Product Management teams and with suppliers to obtain the correct images, die cuts, product text etc. Maintaining and updating the Lindy design database with packaging designs created by the Design team.
- Creating product branding designs
- Photographing, editing and cutting of product photographs and other marketing images and updating relevant image database regularly.
- Undertaking ad hoc marketing tasks as required by the Head of Global Marketing.
**Desired Skills and Experience**
- Computer literate and competence using systems such as windows and Mac, MS O365, Adobe Creative Cloud, Visualsoft VS3, Wordpress WP Admin
- A natural creative flair and interest in graphic design
- Some knowledge of rendering/animation
- Must be a team player who is adaptable with the ability to work on their own and with others
- Takes pride in their attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Time management and able to hit deadlines
- Strong customer focus ensuring that the customer experience is taken into account at all times
- Good communication skills
- Enthusiastic and a can do attitude
