With a successful track record of completing transactions with firms connected to major financial institutions, we are entering an exciting phase of growth. We are seeking an entrepreneurial and driven M&A professional with expertise in infrastructure to lead our business expansion.

**Role Overview**

The primary focus of this position is to generate transactions, particularly in the clean energy infrastructure sector, for our private equity clients, and to ensure their successful completion. This includes regular interactions with management teams, advisors, and senior private equity professionals to source, pitch, and manage relationships between buyers and sellers. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role offers the potential for advancement into an executive leadership position as the company expands.

This position is designed for an ambitious, results-oriented M&A professional with excellent interpersonal skills who is ready to shift away from traditional corporate structures. It’s ideal for someone keen on business development, deal origination, and management, rather than extensive analysis or spreadsheet work. **Key Responsibilities**
- **Origination**: Develop and implement strategies to engage stakeholders, including developers, IPPs, and advisors, through outreach and relationship-building.
- **Screening & Vetting**: Evaluate investment opportunities, gather relevant information, and determine which to pursue.
- **Pitching**: Present opportunities to investors, negotiate terms, and secure mandates.
- **Deal Management**: Facilitate introductions, build trust between buyers and sellers, and manage communication to successfully close transactions.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain a strong network to generate proprietary deal flow.
- Understand private equity investor priorities to align opportunities effectively.
- Work closely with the CEO to refine workflows, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to the company’s strategic direction.

**Experience**:

- 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Previous M&A experience (corporate finance, advisory, investment banking, business development, etc.) is essential. M&A advisory experience is preferred.
- Strong exposure to clean energy infrastructure transactions is required.

**Skills & Attributes**:

- Excellent business development and relationship-building abilities.
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting.
- Ambitious, with a focus on contributing to the company’s growth and operational excellence.
- Fluency in English and ideally a second European language.

**What We Offer**
- Competitive base salary up to £80,000/€80,000, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in Europe.
