Samsic are recruiting for a confident, experienced Security Officer who is flexible and determined to join us as a Regional Security Officer.

As a Regional Security Officer you will be apart of our team covering sites based in the Midlands area which include Leicester, Northampton, Peterborough, Raunds, Rugby & Coventry

**_** Flexibility is vital as you will be required to work days, nights, weekends & bank holidays and own transport is essential **_**

You will work various shifts covering days nights & weekends which will include 8/10/12 hour shifts.
- Salary: £24,960 - £31,200 (£10 p/h) + Travel pay + Overtime Available
- Average Weekly Hours: 48-60 pw
- Contracted Hours: 48 hrs pw
- Employee Status: Permanent/ Full Time

Duties of a Security Officer will include:

- Ensure clients’ staff, property and other assets are secure
- Complete daily logs, noting all appropriate activity
- Produce accurate reports as and when required
- Conduct sufficient internal and external patrols to ensure security of client's premises
- Be an effective ambassador for Samsic Security
- Access and egress to site
- Searching of staff when required
- Conducting of patrols
- Responding to Emergency Calls Received

Essential Requirements:

- Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
- Excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable, clearly spoken
- Excellent customer care skills
- Knowledge of Health & Safety
- Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports
- Demonstrates good observation skills
- Flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns
- Have a Full UK Driving License
- Own vehicle as travel throughout the whole of the Midlands is required
- Have or obtain personal business vehicle insurance

In order to work for Samsic you MUST fulfil the following criteria:

- Have a current SIA Licence (DS or SG) CCTV desirable
- Have an unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
- Be fluent in spoken and written English
- Have a five-year checkable history (Providing a HMRC 3 Year Work History record at your interview)
