**Morrison Water Services **is recruiting for a **Planner** to work on our Anglian Water** **contract in Lincoln

As the Planner you will be working on the IOS plan for delivery of task parcels, the Planner is a central role reporting to the Lead Programme Manager for Task Parcels. The role will require the Planner to work with the other members of the Planning & Delivery Teams to develop, monitor & maintain Task Parcels & as built programmes. Help to ensure both the operational & commercial members of the team are fully appraised to the critical activities & risks of the respective projects at all times, & will be required to work closely with the commercial department for cost loading & resource loading of programmes.

**As the Planner your responsibilities will include**:

- Prepare programmes with Lead Programme Manager for the Delivery Team in accordance with IOS requirements.
- Liaise with Delivery Teams to ensure consistency of key assumptions on methodology and outputs etc.
- Identify opportunity and risk during the programming process.
- Maintain weekly updates of project programmes.
- Gather and collate progress information and reasons for any deviations.
- Monitor changes to the Construction Drawings and Quantities.
- Attend site meetings to gather programme update information
- Report any planning issues to the planning manager.
- Analyse / record design changes from initial construction issue drawings
- Plan weekly site activities.
- Obtain feedback from site teams on planning adequacy and current customer requirements.
- Assist in management of planning software within IOS.
- Assist in maintaining planning standards across IOS.
- Complete and comply with all operational site H&S requirements to ensure safe working practices
- Ensure Personal H&S & MTRA are completed and valid
- Ensure near misses are recorded through Good Catch

**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- Site based engineering background would be preferable.
- Experience in one or more of civils, water, wastewater or M&E.
- Knowledge of current HSE requirements
- Computer literate
- Ability to use planning software.
- Ability to interrogate / take information from drawings
- Good communicator able to communicate detailed data to a non-data literate audience
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to manage/prioritise workload
- Ability to adapt and challenge
