Lancaster, United Kingdom Mighty Student Living Full time

We’re looking for a detail-focused, reliable Property Inspector to join our student lettings team on a temporary basis during our busiest time of year. This role is ideal for someone who’s confident working independently, enjoys being out and about, and takes pride in getting the details right.

Whether you have previous property experience or are simply looking to build some, we’d love to hear from you.

Mighty Student Living is a locally based, student-focused lettings agency in Lancaster. We specialise in providing accommodation and an approachable service to both students and landlords. With a growing portfolio and a strong reputation in the local market, we understand what students and landlords need—and work hard to deliver a hassle-free experience for both.

This role will initially be from June to at least the end of September, with the potential of further extension.

**The Role**

You’ll be responsible for inspecting student properties across Lancaster during the summer turnover period—ensuring they’re ready for new tenants, documenting condition accurately, and reporting any issues using our inspection software. Full training will be provided, but you’ll need to be confident using a mobile phone or tablet to complete digital reports.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducting exit inspections and check-in inspections at student properties
- Taking detailed, clear photos to document condition
- Reporting cleanliness, damage or maintenance issues
- Using our inventory software to complete reports
- Working closely with our lettings and maintenance teams
- Managing keys and ensuring secure access to properties

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Confident working independently and managing your own schedule
- Good communication skills and a professional, helpful attitude
- Comfortable using technology (training provided)
- Full UK driving licence and your own car is essential
- Availability from June through to at least the end of September

**What You’ll Get**:

- £12.21 - 12.80 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Mileage paid for travel between properties
- Flexible working days within core hours
- Free on-site parking
- Friendly, experienced team and supportive working environment
- Potential for the role to be extended or become permanent
- Access to a 24/7 employee assistance programme
- 10% discount with a local bar & restaurant

**How to Apply**
If you’re organised, dependable, and ready to support a busy student lettings team this summer, we’d love to hear from you.
