Unique Training Solutions Ltd (UTS) are a leading, national provider of training courses and qualifications programmes to the health, housing, and social care sectors.
As a Skills for Care Centre of Excellence, we have evidenced our commitment to the design and delivery of education that delivers significant impact to our learners, our customers organisations, and the individuals they support.
We are also one of just a few training providers who are approved to deliver the full range of Oliver McGowan training programmes which includes Tier 1 webinars, Tier 2 face to face as well as both Tier 1 and Tier 2 Train the Trainer programmes.
We are currently seeking additional trainers to join our specialist learning disability and autism team to deliver the range of training programmes we offer which are aligned to the learning disability and autism competency framework and this will include the delivery of the Oliver McGowan Tier 1 and Tier 2 programmes.
We are looking for those who have several years’ experience of working with individuals with a learning disability and/or those who are autistic. It is essential for this role that you have a high level of knowledge and competency in this area so you can use this rich experience to train and develop others, pulling on real life experiences and scenarios. These skills will also be important in building good working relationships with our team of experts with a lived experience who will co-facilitate on the Oliver McGowan programmes with you.
Some prior training experience is also essential however, having the Oliver McGowan trainer approval is not as this is something we will provide as part of your contract with us.
You will be working within a range of customers such as NHS Trusts, Private Hospitals, Local Authorities, and large Care Providers.
**Working as a Trainer at UTS you will be required to**:
- Deliver high quality training in learning disability and autism to our range of customers
- Ensure all delivery is in accordance with current legislation, best practice and within UTS policy.
- Provide guidance and support to all learners.
- Deliver within an agreed timescale that meets a customer and learners needs.
- Communicate content with enthusiasm, articulation, and confidence.
- Become a part of the UTS training community

Have prior experience of delivering training across the sector, ideally both face to face and virtually.
- Have a strong background in Health and Social care with a great emphasis and proven competencies in learning disability and autism
- Want to raise the bar and continuously champion excellent training within Health, Housing and Social Care.
- Hold a teaching qualification
