An excellent opportunity has arisen at EFS Global for a qualified **Mechanic** to join our team at Euro SDB, Tamworth.

As a group, EFS operates from 32 key depots across the UK. We have developed a range of services, from import and export, to European road freight, haulage, pallet & parcel deliveries, refrigerated transport and more. We now offer a truly end to end, high quality logistics service.

As an EFS Mechanic, you will assist in keeping our commitment to safety by taking responsibility for the repair and maintenance of our fleet. This will include completing day to day inspections, maintenance, diagnostics and organising and planning maintenance on trucks and trailers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Day to day maintenance of assets
- Preventative maintenance - such as inspections, tyre rotation, oil changes
- Carry out fault diagnosis on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Perform minor and major repairs of vehicles & trailers
- Monitoring inventory
- Sourcing parts
- Work in line with Health & Safety and safe working practices
- Vehicle inspections, servicing, and MOT preparation
- Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation
- Perform any other duties as reasonably requested

**Skills**
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent required
- Strong HGV, van, and trailer knowledge
- Full driving licence
- C+E Entitlement on licence
- Ability and desire to solve mechanical problems
- Excellent work ethic
- Proactive approach to the operation.

Working Hours: Flexible hours to be discussed at Interview

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £37,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
